Learn: 
  • How to take your Breathing IQ (BIQ). Having a functional measurement of a good diaphragmatic breath is signature to the BREATHE Method.
  • Why your health suffers when you breathe inefficiently and common dysfunctional breath patterns that occur. 
  • About the vagus nerve, as well as when and why breathing starts to change. 
  • The role of your thoracic diaphragm and its relationship to your pelvic floor.
Practice:
  • Time for the fun part - breathing exercises! You'll move tiny muscles and reconnect to your breath with every inhale and exhale linked with movement. Eyes open, everything is done with effort. This isn't your bestie's breath work sesh.
  • Exercises like: Rock & Roll, Cat/Cow, Intercostal Stretch, Diaphragm Extension, Spinal Twist, Exhale Pulsations, Tactical Breathing, Ballon Blows, and Back Breath
  • Recovery Breath closes out class (for those who are up for it.) This two-part breath led exercise is like meditation for people who can't meditate.
